Waist Deep Pêche

Fishing

The Côte-Nord is without a doubt Quebec's fishing paradise. Come and live an exceptional fishing experience, in the heart of our beautiful region, in outfitters, on rivers and lakes filled with fish and trout. Fish in a wild environment and make great catches!

Kayak

Discover the colossal Manicouagan which drains the fifth largest watershed in Quebec. During floods, its flow corresponds to the average flow of the St. Lawrence at the height of Niagara Falls.

Plan your kayaking activity independently with your equipment or in collaboration with MerÉveil .

Approach the Manic-5 dam via the Manicouagan River. Travel these few kilometers of the river nestled between the cliffs and admire the magnificent falls.

 

Different routes are possible including the discovery of Manic-5 and Manic-3. We recommend that you bring a change of clothes, warm clothes, 2 liters of water per person, sunscreen, sunglasses, a towel, your wetsuit, as well as a lunch and snacks (available for sale at square). Plan to hike independently with your equipment.

Hiking

The Innu called these mountains "Uapsihka" or "white summits" since snow covers them nine months a year. The massif is the third largest in the whole province.

The ascent of Mont Harfang in the Groulx Mountains will allow you to live an extraordinary outdoor experience. Along the way, you will have the opportunity to contemplate the landscapes of Route 389 and the summit, to admire the meteorite crater and the alpine tundra. Maybe you will see ptarmigan!

 

We offer you this hike in autonomy. We recommend that you bring with you a good pair of walking boots, 2 liters of water per person, sunscreen, mosquito repellent, a waterproof windbreaker and sunglasses.
